When is an airline apology not an apology? When it’s from Southwest

Press reports state that Southwest has already ‘apologized’ to Kyla Ebbert. Who is Kyla Ebbert? Kyla is that micro-skirt wearing, publicity seeking Hooters waitress who has been harassed about several weeks ago.

Granted that Southwest did issue an apology, it came only after the people there derided the issue, making references about great legs, hot flashes, and other humiliating comments. Although Kyla is milking this controversy for all its worth, it’s still proper that the airline apologize to her.

However, Southwest being Southwest, it seems that the apology is trying to say that they’re not sorry that they harassed her, but they’re sorry for being called out in doing it.
