The Technicolor hulk of hospitality is not just that mammoth multicolored hotel, because it’s become official. The First World Hotel located in Genting, Malaysia has just been officially declared by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest hotel.
The First World Hotel bested the previous record holder, MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which had a total of 5005 rooms. The First World Hotel has 6118 rooms.
