Well, evidently playing cards are now a security threat. My mother in law is an avid card player (as are my kids). When grandma comes to visit, it is non stop card games. The many packs of playing cards that she brought to her latest visit caught the attention of TSA yesterday.

“What do you need so many cards for?”

The explanation of playing card games with her grandkids did not satisfy — so she had to unpack all of her cards, go through extra screening, go through extra questioning: “What do you need so many cards for?”

At least she wasn’t arrested. And I think they let her keep her cards.
