Reader Kim sends in a link to a scan of Sun Country Airlines’ safety card, as found in their seatback pocket. I have to think that they’re trying to liven the cards up, to keep our attention. Why else would they have Willy Wonka making an emergency exit? A “Where’s Waldo” for those bored inflight?

These scans are apparently 2 years old (but new to me). If anyone has flown SunCountry lately, can you verify that these are still in use?

    If I ran an airline, I’d get in touch with WB or Disney or something to negotiate for a licence to use some of the more classic of their fabulous cartoon characters for use on these sheets. Sylvester and Tweety in brace position, Bugs opening and throwing out the door.

    A bit older kids would absolutely get the safety message, along with parents who are a bit nostalgic about some of these cartoon classics.

    “Now, son. Pull that handle, just like Porky did, and the slide will come out.”

    just flew to MN and me and my son loved it, the best part is someone wrote WTF on both willy and the hottie in the tutu!! Good stuff!
