Also flying last week and caught a funny conversation between two United pilots waiting to board and were completely ripping on that little red carpet for 1K members. I preferred it over the normal meals, even if it meant I had to pay $6 for a sandwich. Why not get something that you will actually enjoy eating for a couple bucks instead of scarfing down some disgusting "made a week ago" meal for free?
