I know this has made the rounds already, but it’s been a long holiday weekend. Which naturally leads to posting videos by hip-hop moguls. In this case, Diddy, offering a proof that gas prices are too high, by flying commercial.

I’m not sure what my favorite part of this (profanity-laden, so not safe for work) video is… the fact that he’s weeping about his private jet’s fuel bill costing him $250,000 a month, the fact that he’s videotaping himself at an American Airlines gate, that he wants Saudi Arabia to send him oil for his jet, or that he says he’s flying coach and then proceeds to park his butt in the first-class cabin. (In case you haven’t seen it, coach is the cabin a few steps further back, Diddy.)

(Thanks, Tyler!)

When I was doing some work at Eos, Diddy and a large number of his entourage flew the airline back from London. Something tells me he didn’t pay for all 8 of his buddies to fly with him. Oh, and he refused to drink the bottled water the airline provided (I believe he wouldn’t drink Evian, if I remember correctly…) Tom over at Channel 9 blog may remember more. Tom?

So he HAS flown commercial! :)

And what did he insist on drinking in lieu of Evian?

He fly EWR-ATL on DL on my flight in ‘03 business class. Wasn’t friendly and was rushed off the plane by DL when we landed.
