Hi,
I have spent all morning trying to get through to Bank of America which is my Visa card issuer as my husband used his Visa credit card to book two tickets for us on Zoom's premier economy. We were scheduled to leave for London on the 12th of September from JFK.It was to be a trip to celebrate my birthday. Ever since we read about the demise of Zoom we have been trying to get our money refunded while Amex has issued a statement that it will refund the tickets booked on Zoom with their card our Visa issuer Bank of America is saying a dispute cannot be registered until the date of travel. How much more proof do they need????Th airline is bankrupt and has ceased operations and hence service has been/ will be denied so why do I have to wait???? its shocking! I also called BA they are willing to honor our zoom tickets as is - our two tickets on Zoom's premium economy cost $1941 and if we are to fly on BA's Premium Economy it is going to cost us another $1846 in addition to the $1941 already paid to Zoom ..its so frustrating and scary so in the future if your airline fails you are sunk!!
