As Chris mentioned, it is just another gimmick. It will get their name out in the press for relatively little money and will end up scrapping the idea in a few months.

It seems like a gimmick to me. Personally, I never try to fight jet lag. I just deal with it and end up sleeping in the day a lot when I first go to Asia or come home, but that's okay-- it works itself out over a couple days.

Ahh, back-of-the-knee light therapy. Indeed, that idea was floated about 10 years ago. I never tried it, but it seems to have gone nowhere since.

Ha! Do you have to put the light on the back of your knee? I remember reading something about that as a trick for overcoming jet lag a while back.

But, really, there's only so much a hotel room can do for you when you didn't sleep at all on the eastbound flight bc the seat was so uncomfortable or some screaming child kept you up all night--you're simply sleep deprived, not jetlagged. Here's hoping for decent, free in-room coffee.
