This enables them to expand into long haul networks while maintaining a flexible long haul route structure capable to change according to market demands, without changing thier core business structure. Kudos to Mr. Ziskind for thinking out of the box. I wish executives at LCC companies thought like him. Maybe my investments in the LCC business would start to offer some returns.
