I tried to look for points conversion from Choice privilages to American on choicehotels website could not find any link.
Can some one guide me where can i do so.

I talked to Amtrak, thinking I might try to convince them to give me the transfer to ChoicePoints at the old rate, but didn’t even manage to get the new one:

As of Dec. 5th, Amtrak no longer transfers points to Choice Points. Period.

That sound you hear? It’s the muffled sound of their customers being beaten in the back room by a burly guy named “Steve.” Steve doesn’t like you. And he doesn’t like it when you try to use your Amtrak points.

UPDATE: Amtrak has changed the terms of this offer. 5000 Amtrak points NOW –> 15000 Choice points. That’s 10000 points less, or a 40% devaluation.

This is no longer an offer I recommend.

Sorry – I was confused. The Choice Hotels program is now referred to as Choice Privileges on the Amtrak website. In any event, it looks like this will work. Thanks so much for the tip!
