I’ve got a doozy- was flying JFK-France via Zurich last year on American- when the first flight had a mechanical delay, I missed my connecting- and there wasn’t a single available seat on another flight to Nice, my destination. They ended up flying me to a tiny city over 150 miles away, and telling me I should “take the train” when I got there.

…and that affected my ability to read instructions.

Last month I was returning from London and my AA flight Heathrow to Chicago was late departing Heathrow. Upon arrival to Chicago, it took 45 minutes for the bags to arrive on the carousel. AA offered to book me on a united flight from chicago to Richmond. I had to wait a couple hours for that, then that flight was late. Eventually I got home to Richmond about 5 hours later than my original arrival time.
