One new entry in the arena is Travature.com. It's not as large as some of the other aggregators yet but it does offer a few things different. Travature has a patent pending on an open ended flight search concept. What this means is that you can leave the arrival city blank on your flight search and you can get a list of cached prices for all kinds of different destinations (which can be filtered by tags, distance, and more). You can also leave the dates blank to see a calendar view of cached prices for different days. A sort of different spin on flexible date and location search. The other new thing Travature does is integrate travel information from other areas with its flight search: travel guides, photo streams, restaurant reviews, etc all get mashed up to give a more 'holistic' perspective of your destination. The company just released its public beta test release, so there is still lots of improvements to be made. Lately though, I've been seeing Farechase be right up there with Kayak on many searches. It's always good to check to them all - there's no single site that will find the cheapest airfare every single time. Oh, and I agree that quixo is not all it's cracked up to be. Try Singapore to Bangkok or Delhi to Bombai or even Brussels to Nice. It should show you the coverage of low cost airlines as well.
